Black Mountain Forest Christmas Tree Farm is just north of Dahlonega. We have White Pines and Leyland Cypress trees up to 8’ tall ready for you to select and cut yourself. We will help you load your tree on your vehicle.
Browse our Christmas Shop and select from the handmade fresh wreaths, gifts, gift baskets and Christmas decorations. Taste our delicious award winning homemade jams and jellies, pickles, and relishes, and cakes in–a-jar that are available.
Kids will get a free coloring book and can ride our pedal tractors. Check out the antique tractors, corn shellers and grinders.
Bring your lunch and use the picnic tables. Take a hike on the trails in the woods. Enjoy free hot apple cider and, weather permitting, a free wagon ride with your family on weekends and the Friday after thanksgiving.

Directions to the Farm
- From the square in Dahlonega take E. Main St. to traffic light at N. Grove. Turn Left (Business US 19 / GA 60 north)
- Stay on N. Grove (Business US 19 / GA 60) about 2.2 miles north to Camp Wahsega Rd. Turn left. You will see a sign for Camp Frank Merrill pointing left.
- Go 1 mile to Black Mountain Rd. on the right. Turn right.
- Go 1.4 miles. The farm is on the left.
