Black Mountain Forest Christmas Tree Farm is just north of Dahlonega with hundreds of Leyland Cypress trees ready for you to select from and cut yourself. Yes, we will help you load your tree on your vehicle!

From the gift shop select from the handmade fresh wreaths, gifts, fresh table arrangements, gift baskets and Christmas decorations. Taste the delicious award winning homemade jams and jellies, pickles, relishes, and cakes in a jar which are available. Get a free coloring book for the kids.

Take a family photo on an authentic 4-seat snow sleigh and five antique tractors. Take a walk through the children’s Peter Rabbit garden. Let the kids ride our pedal tractors.

Bring your lunch and use the picnic tables. Take a hike on the trails in the woods. Enjoy free hot apple cider and weather permitting a free hayride with your family on weekends and the Fri. after thanksgiving.

Directions to the Farm
  • From the square in Dahlonega take E. Main St. to traffic light at N. Grove. Turn Left (Business US 19 / GA 60 north)
  • Stay on N. Grove (Business US 19 / GA 60) about 2.2 miles north to Camp Wahsega Rd. Turn left. You will see a sign for Camp Frank Merrill pointing left.
  • Go 1 mile to Black Mountain Rd. on the right. Turn right.
  • Go 1.4 miles. The farm is on the left.
